A regular Network.

“You gotta start with the cutomer experience and work backwords to the technology “

– steve Jobs

There are quotes that for them, I keep a special place in the back of my mind.
And, the quotes aforementioned by Steve Jobs is one of them.

Regular networks, as I see them are a prime example of this quote, they start with the customer experience (However they see it), and they work backwords to find the relevant technology.

But… I have an issue with it. It might be a small issue that doesn’t matter to many people, and the issue is that most networks see the customer experience as the following.

The Customer Experience as portraid by most ISPs (As I see it )

Most Internet Service Providers (ISPs) give you a router that provides you with a connection to the World Wide Web.

This connection is then used by you (And many other households) to connect to the internet and browse the web.
The customer experience that they (The ISPs) are concerned with is you having connectivity to the web.
For complete clarity, I am not with that. The way that I see the customer’s experience is not concluded with just having connectivity to the web but also having a smooth connection web across the entire premise.

I see the basic customer’s experience as having a smooth connection to the web as long as I am providing the connection.
And, as long as the customer is within their household the feat of providing a smooth connection all across is not out of the oridinary of hard.
